religion project for 5 hour volunteer work

For my 5 hours of volunteer work, I have been delivering "The Great Hope" books for the last 4 mouths. I was a lone wolf for the job, and the only help I received so far was my dolly cart carrying and keeping my books. It was like an adventure to me walking in neighborhoods I've never been though before, especially those secret walk ways for good short cuts. In some case's there are house's that have dogs that bark to make you jump, and those dogs that might show aggression, and might attack. On the other hand I do at least bring a weapon with me like a shoehorn of some sort. I feel prevailed being able to deliver and spread the message of God to people. all the hours I put into walking around the whole place delivering these books, dosn't always pay off because a lot of people aren't interested in reading the book.

It was September the 21st 2012 12:45pm. At kelowna B.C it was sunny, and a perfect time to do this experiment at my house located at Theodora rd. it was sunny, so sunny it was the perfect time to test my family's pond water filled with algae and tiny plankton swimming around. Testing with phosphate, chloride, water temperature, and water quality.

The air temperture was 25 degrees back in that time, The water temperture was resulted to be about 13 degrees, like the temperture today. The PH scale show the result of 9, NO3 was about 2, NO2 had no result, and the PO4 had a result of 5.

Total alkalinity: 240

Total  hardness: 111.1

Dissolved O2: 12

Conductivity: nothing interesting happened

Phosphate : 30 ppm

Oxygen: north 9,South 8

Heat : 25,12

Nitrite: 0

Nitrate: 0

Ph: 6

lectricity : not conducting still water

Temp :15

Alkalinity : 40

Ph : 7  (Canada standerd 6.5 - 8.5)

Ox : 7

Nitrate: 0

Turbidity: 76 cm

Analysis: We found out that the still water had a higher temperature than the running water and that the running water had more phosphate than the still water and we learned that the running water was a lot clearer than the still water.

Vitamin C lab test ,By Bradie.B

The vitamin C lab test was a burning noise experience  this was the type to have experience to remember for some time. We putted iodide in a glass tube ,and after we put starch in the tube as well and the liquid was close to become the color black. While the water was still black we putted the following ingredients that's shown below. these were the results of the ingredients used for this lab.


Mystery Juice: moves below the tube

citric acid: dissolves the iodide

sugar: Nothing interesting happens

Bread: The bread turned to a dark colour

orange peel: Nothing interesting happens

Onion: Just changes colour

Tomato: Nothing interesting happens

Orange: the liquid turns to a yellow colour

for my first blog of September 2012 of religion class 11/12 i will type my answer for some questions that I chose. One of my questions I would answer was "who are your friends in class?", it was a obvious question for me to answer, and for the answer i would type down Sam, john, Cody ,and especially others I get along with. Overall I think all my other and school friendships are just fine as is.

Another question that catched my eye was "What is your favorite thing about school", a question I saw in a completely different column. The question put me into alot of thinking for a sec there, and a principle of this topic came into my mind. I decided to type as my answer that my favorite thing about this school is that everybody gets along, as nobody annoys,tease's or steals from each other, its always a perfect place and time to be in.


For the last question I will answer for, is the question "What is your least favorite thing about school? This was one of those certain types of questions that kept me thinking most of the time (besides question number 2). I made up my mind for the answer, my answer was this "it takes a while or in other words school classes where even longer last year. I did like the schedule last year it was shorter, and we tolerated it well. Its a shame that we have to face the fact that we had to stay allot longer in boiling temerture in some class rooms and sports in P.E we really really dont care about.
