The vitamin C lab test was a burning noise experience this was the type to have experience to remember for some time. We putted iodide in a glass tube ,and after we put starch in the tube as well and the liquid was close to become the color black. While the water was still black we putted the following ingredients that's shown below. these were the results of the ingredients used for this lab.
Mystery Juice: moves below the tube
citric acid: dissolves the iodide
sugar: Nothing interesting happens
Bread: The bread turned to a dark colour
orange peel: Nothing interesting happens
Onion: Just changes colour
Tomato: Nothing interesting happens
Orange: the liquid turns to a yellow colour

ReplyDeleteThe purpose of this lab was to determine which of the foods had vitamin C. If the liquid in the test tube stayed dark blue there was no Vitamin C in the food, but if the liquid became clear then there was Vitamin C.
You need to include an analysis of your results to explain WHY you got the results you did.
